A Dialogue about good effects of morning walk

A dialogue between two friends about good effects of morning walk.

Asif     : Good morning, how are you?
Arup    : Good morning. I am fine. What’s about you?
Asif    : I am also fine. I have heard that you get up early in the morning and walk
              for quite a long time.
Arup  :  Yes. I always get up minimum one hour before the sunrise and go
               for morning walk.
Asif    :    Is early rising good for health?
Arup  :  Of course. The man, who rises early in the morning, can take some
exercise and walk in the morning fresh air in the open field. The
morning air refreshes both body and mind.
Asif    :    I was completely in the dark. I will start rising in the morning.
Arup  :    If you cultivate the habit of morning walk, you will realize its importance.
Asif    :   Thank you.
Arup   :   You are most welcome.

a letter about condolation for bad result in the examination

A latter to your friend condoling him for bad result in the first terminal examination.

13/c New Garden
Dhaka
17 May 2015
Dear Jamal,

I am really surprised at the news of your failure in the half-yearly examination in this year. I wonder how it came about. You had never failed before in any examination. However, past is past. Now, be up, my friend. You need not think over it. An examination is a game of chance. Often good boys fail badly in it. I hear you have failed in Maths and there is scarcely any more treacherous subject than that, I believe if you had good health before the examination you could do well. Don’t lose heart, you will surely come out successful next time.
Yours ever,
Jahid

crimes without much difficulty. Sometimes, criminals use  this phone to maintain their secrecy.
In spite of some such drawbacks, there is no better alternative to mobile phone in
communicating with people at home and abroad.
Myself              : Thank you father.

An Old Farmer and his Three Lazy Sons

An Old Farmer and his Three Lazy Sons

There was a rich farmer and old who had worked hard all his life. But now, he had grown old and was ailing. He had three young sons who were very lazy and they did not want to do any work. So, the farmer was very anxious about the future of his sons. He wanted to be sure that after his death, his sons would give the same attention to the farm as he had given throughout his life. One day he called his sons to his bed and said, “My sons, I have something important to share with you. There is a great treasure lying hidden in one of my fields. If you dig them properly, you will find it and become very rich.” After the farmer’s death, the sons started digging every portion of the lands. They continued to dig for days and days but did not find the treasure. Finally they became angry and at the time of returning home, they sowed some seeds without any mission in their land. Days passed. Soon, the crops grew lushly green. After two months they went to the field and became surprised seeing huge crops in the field. Finally they understood the meaning of their father’s message. Then, they left their laziness and started working in their fields and became happy.

21 Hasan Hafizur Rahman A Composition about The Game I Like Most

 The Game I Like Most

I have played various games during the last five years but no game has provided me so much pleasure as the game of football. I have played hockey and cricket. I adjudge hockey as a risky game and consider cricket as a dull game.
Similarly volleyball and basketball don’t arouse interest in one though these too are excellent games. I am a boy of short height and do not find it advantageous to play basketball. Cricket is a costly game and a poor boy like me cannot afford it.
On the other hand the game of football is thought to be the best of all by me. Its rules are ‘easy to understand and does not take too long a period of time to finish like cricket. Football is neither an expensive game nor it is unsuitable like cricket. I adjudge the game of football the best because it gives me sufficient exercise and it develops all the muscles of mind.
Lawn Tennis is expensive and I consider badminton as a ladies game. The struggle of sticks in hockey leads to quarrel among boys. I find great enthusiasm, pleasure and recreation in the game of football. We don’t get disheartened. Our regular practice makes us good players.
In football there is a need of the spirit of co-operation among the players. If the teams are organized orderly a feeling of brotherhood is restored. In no other game speed, pluck, tactics and presence of mind are required, as it is found in the game of football. Further for playing football we do not need an expert. It is neither complicated too. What we need for football is a ball and a plain ground.
The game of football is played between two teams, each team consisting of eleven players. All the players obey strictly to the whistle of the referee and the flag of the linesmen. They get themselves accustomed to strict discipline.
Each team consists of one goal-keeper, three half-backs, two full backs and five forwards. The players are allowed to kick the ball with any part of the body except their hands. The only player that uses his hands and feet for kicking the ball is the goalkeeper. The joy of the game is intensified as the ball is netted and when medals and trophies are given as a result of this. The game excites the spirit of the spectators when the players of one team put the ball into the goal of the opponents.
The game has one drawback as accidents take place on account of unfair pushing and foul play. But playing in this way is not conducive to sporting like spirit. If it is played in true spirit the accidents are bound to be reduced. If the instructions of the referee are violated, the game is called a foul one.
Football nourishes our mind and body. The game teaches us discipline and co-operation. It is very popular in India, Holland, Russia and America as well. It teaches us to face the challenge of life with fortitude, confidence and courage. The sufficient exercise to our limbs given by football helps us to grow well.

A Composition on Population Problem in Bangladesh

Population Problem in Bangladesh
Population problem is the main problem of Bangladesh. It is a small country of 1,47,570 square kilometres. But the density of population is about 876 per square kilometre. It is one of the biggest figures in the world. Moreover about two million new babies are born every year.
Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated countries of the world. About 140 million people live in this small land. Many of the evils/problems of the country are due to over population. At present the growth rate of population is about 3% every year.

The population is an asset of a country. But sometimes it becomes a curse when the country cannot meet the necessities of the people. Additional people need additional things like food, clothes, houses, hospitals, education, work etc. But for a poor country like Bangladesh it is impossible to meet all the demands of the people.

The effect of over population is very dangerous. The rate of unemployment is increasing every year. Unemployment causes frustration and unrest in the society. As a   result the situation of law and order is now going out of control. There is no balance between food production and the growth rate of population. The price of things is rising high by leaps and bounds. So it is going beyond the reach of the poor people to buy their daily necessities. Over population creates much pressure on all sectors of economy. All these have adverse impacts on our life and society.

We should come forward to solve this problem. Early marriage should be abolished. Each family should not have more than two children. For this we must remove illiteracy from society. Programmes must be taken to create awareness among the mass people about the adverse impacts of over population.

The government alone cannot solve this problem. Educated and conscious people of the society must play an important role to face this problem. Otherwise, our progress and development as a nation will be greatly hampered and we will lag behind in every sphere of life.

A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed

One day two friends were passing through a forest. They were talking about a real friend. One said to the other, “A true friend never leaves his friend in danger.” Just at that time a big bear rushed out of the wood. Both the friends were afraid to see the bear. At first, they did not know what to do.
One of them, however, knew how to climb up a tree. Therefore, he at once climbed up a tree and became safe. The other friend did not know how to climb up a tree. Finding no alternative, he laid down on the ground like a dead man; for he had heard that, a bear would not touch a dead man. Soon the bear came close to him and smelt his ears, nose, face and body. The man held his breath and laid quite still. So the bear mistook him for a dead man and went away. His friend on the tree saw what had happened on the ground. When the bear left, he came down from the tree. “Friend.” Said he, “I saw the bear whispering something to you. “What did the bear say to you?” In reply he said, “Don’t trust a friend who leaves his friend at the time of danger.”

Unity is Strength

Once there was an old farmer. He had four sons. They always quarreled with each other. One day the old farmer wanted to teach them a good lesson. Therefore, he called his sons. They all came to the farmer. The farmer asked to bring them some sticks and ropes. They did so. The old farmer tied the sticks in a bundle. Then he told them to break the bundle. They all tried but could not break the bundle. Then he told them to untie the bundle and gave a single stick to each of his sons to break. Then all of them broke the sticks easily. The farmer told them that if they would remain separate and quarreled with each other, their enemies would easily defeat them. However, if they remained united like the bundle, they would be much stronger and the enemies would not do any harm to them. At this, the three sons learnt a good lesson and began to live together in peace.

A School Library

A School Library
A library is a place where books are kept for reading. A school library is a library set up in the school compound mainly for the benefit of the students. A school library is a part of a school. Our school library is situated in the first floor of our school building. Our school library is furnished with some tables, chairs, almirahs, desks and bookshelves. There are also two air conditioners in our school library. We have a rich collection of books. There are more than five thousand books in our school library. Books of almost all branches of knowledge are available here. The books are kept in different shelves according to subjects. In the library, there is a librarian. He helps the students finding books. There are two rooms in our library. In one room, there is a sitting arrangement. The students sit there and get absorbed in books. A pin-drop of silence exists at that time. There are ten computers in our school library with internet connection. The students can connect with recently published books through internet. Students can borrow books from the library for a certain period. They are greatly benefited by the library. They can enrich their knowledge by reading books in the library. We are very proud of our school library.

Tree Plantation

Tree Plantation
Tree is one of the most important elements of our environment. It is impossible to think any environment without tree. So tree plantation is a burning question in deed. We know that trees supply us with oxygen and receive carbon dioxide. We cannot live without oxygen. The food what we eat to live, the medicine what we take to cure diseases, the furniture what we use for comfort, the dress what we wear to look us good, the cars and vehicles what we use to run our life smooth tree is a must. That is why it is very essential for us to consider tree plantation. Actually planting tree according to the need and necessity of the environment is called tree plantation. We know that to keep balance of the environment 25% of a country should be wood area. But actually many countries of the world do not have this quantity of wood area. In Bangladesh we have only 6% forest area of total land. It is not at all desirable to us. So realizing the need and necessity we should be aware of tree plantation. In the tree plantation week from July 1 to 7 we all should plant at least one piece of tree. We can plant tree in the open space of our houses, fields and by the side of the roads. In order to ensure a healthy environment we should stop deforestation and provide tree plantation. If we can keep balance of the environment we will live better. So we all should come forward to prevalent tree plantation.

Now a day it has become very popular to all. In Bangladesh book fair is held in February. The biggest book fair in Bangladesh is held at Bangla Academy, Dhaka. They were text books, story books, novels, drama, children books, books on history, geography, jokes and so on. All classes of people came to the book fair to enjoy. Some of them came here to visit only; some of them came here to buy books according to their taste and choice. There was an arrangement of month-long cultural program in the book fair. I got an opportunity to enjoy a cultural program. It was participated by the famous write Imdadul Haque Milan. I bought some books on story, history, novels and religion. Actually a book fair is a store house of knowledge. It is essential for all kind of people specially for the students. It widens our outlook and helps us to be wise. I was very much influenced by visiting the book fair. It is a memory of my life. I will never miss any book fair as long as I live my life

Internet

Internet
Internet is one of the most important inventions in history. It is a network of millions of computers around the world, connected by phone lines, satellites or cables. Millions of people from all over the world use it every day. Internet has made the world a real global village which permits us to travel, pay bills or do the shopping without going out from our houses. We can read newspapers, play games or even plan our holidays. A huge merit of Internet is a possibility to download music and films in no time. We can also communicate with other people from all over the world by means of programs like IRC, ICQ or GG. We can join a newsgroup and share our special interests with each other. A very useful thing is an electronic mail, because it is faster than regular post and even air mail. Internet offers a lot of information from every branch of knowledge. So we can find everything for our schoolwork or job there, or just find more about our hobbies. There are some demerits of internet also. Some web sites are not suitable for children, for example sites about violence, sex or sects. In conclusion, Internet has more good sides than bad ones, and I think that it’s improving all the time, so in the future it will be still better.

A Letter about What I will do with the Lottery Money

What I will do with the lottery money.
16 October, 2015
35, North Mugda, Dhaka -1214
Dear Jahid,
Your letter is just to my hand. In your letter you have wanted to know what I will do with the lottery money if I win a lottery. Now I am writing about it.
You know that from my childhood I always keep a nice dream to serve the common people and to do something better for the betterment of the society as well as our nation. If I win a lottery, I hope my dream will come true. I can set up a hospitable  in my native with the money and give free treatment to the villagers. I have another plan to set up an orphanage where the poor, helpless and orphan children can get all the facilities to become good citizen and human beings. Really, my dream will come true if I win a lottery.
No more today, convey my salam to your parents and love to the youngers.

A Paragraph about A Dream Dreamt

Everybody likes to keep a nice dream which may not happen in the real world or which he/she believes to happen in the near future. Again, Dreams are just like flowers, we can’t imagine our life without dream. So, Every one has his own dream. Like others from my childhood I have kept a nice dream and my dream is to have a dream Bangladesh where there is no violence, no hatred, no greed, no discrimination, but just peace, love and harmony. A country where mankind will always help each other and is not jealous of each other, where people are not categorized based on their caste and creed, where there is no difference between the rich and poor, but rather considered as equals. A country where there is lots of fun and goodness and where it is safe for every human being who lives in this country. Though this is a dream, I sincerely wish that our country would one day become a place filled with love and harmony rather than what today man does, with all his hatred. We need to guide the coming generation and we have the equal responsibility of showing them the right path in life. Though this is my dream world, I would try hard the way that I could to get my dream to reality, so that Bangladesh would be a much better place and when my dream comes true, it would be worth having a dream

A Paragraph about the art of Silence

Silence is an art which has the power to get people think and act. Similarly, it motivates a person to be more effective to his own activity and it also shows good manner. If we remain silent, we can turn our thoughts and focus inwards and gain the power we need to refuel our minds. When there is silence there is time for self-examination. Silence is a great tool for counselors if it is used in the right way. It is also great when listening to friends and family. Silence helps us to work through, in our minds, the events of the day or project what we want to happen during the day ahead. Similarly, it brings our awareness back to the present and increases our self-awareness. Again, silence is golden because we know that self-reflection is important to human development and learning.  On the othehand, silence feeds our imaginations and causes all types of anxious conjurations. If we’re clever about it, we can leverage these negative reactions to create positive value. Silence can be confusing and can make people feel uncomfortable and alone. After all, the art of silence plays a vital role in our practical life as well as our personal life. So, everyone should practice the noble virtue.

A village market is a place where the villagers meet, buy and sell their daily goods. It is a temporary center for buying and selling goods for the villagers. Generally, it sits every morning and breaks at noon. Again, village market may be either daily or weekly and the big markets sit once or twice a week.
A village market generally stands at an open place and the place has road-links with the main road. So that it is easy for the businessmen to carry their goods for selling at this place and the village people can easily come for buying and selling things. A village market is also seen at the junction of roads or by the side of a river or a canal. Large banyan trees are let grown to give shade and shelter.
There are two kinds of village market. They are the daily market and the weekly market. The daily market is called “Bazar”. It sits in the morning and breaks up before noon. Besides, it also sits in the afternoon and breaks up late at night. The weekly market is called “Hat”. It sits once or twice a week and breaks up late in the evening.
A village market has three parts like open space, temporary shad and permanent shed. In the open space the sellers sit in rows. Fish, milk, fruits, betel, leaves, vegetables etc. are sold in the open space. People buy their daily necessaries from here. Oil, rice, salt, pepper, etc. are sold in the temporary shops. Domestic materials, utensils, bangles, cloths and stationery are sold in different stalls .which stand in a special row.
The village market is very useful to the villagers. Here they get their daily necessary things which are fresh and preservative free. It saves the villagers from going to distant places for buying things. It is the meeting place of the villagers. The villagers find a social and friendly life here.
A village market has some demerits too. It is a noisy and an unhealthy place. A village market is not also free from defects. There is no fixed price in the market. A customer may be cheated at any time. Pick-pickets and gamblers come up and do their evils. Sometimes, the shopkeepers are also oppressed by the local criminals.
A village market is a part and parcel of our rural economy and it does a great service to the rural people. We should keep it neat and clean. As it is the backbone of the rural economy, our government should take proper steps against price-hiking, pick-pockets, gamblers and other criminals.

Write a letter to your brother telling him the benefit of reading newspaper and advising him to read newspaper regularly.

My Dear Rased,
I have just received mother’s letter. From her letter I have heard that you are not interested in reading newspaper regularly. Really, the news makes me very shocked. You should bear in mind that newspaper is the store house of knowledge.
The importance of reading newspaper beggars description because it provides the news of home and abroad. It also provides the news of politics, economics, business, sports, new invention etc. It is very necessary for the students because by reading it he or she can enrich his or her basic knowledge and he can make himself confident about any topic. A students lags behind if he does not read newspaper daily.  This is why you must form the habit of reading newspaper. Now I think you have realized the importance of it.
No more today, convey my Salam to father and mother and love to the youngers.
Your brother

Newspaper

Newspaper

The paper, which carries the news of both home and abroad and views us some events which occur around us, is called news paper. It is one of the best inventions of modern science and called the storehouse of knowledge. Similarly, it is one of the blessings of modern life and it is our daily companion. Similarly, it is a part and parcel of our life because we cannot think of modern life without newspaper. Even, we cannot have our breakfast without reading newspaper of the day.

Newspaper was first published in china and during the reign of Queen Elizabeth it was first published in England. Before the English rule there was no particular newspaper in this sub-continent.  The Indian gazette which was the first newspaper in Indo-Bangladesh was published in 1774. The Samachar Darpan is the first Bengali newspaper. The Christian missionaries of Sreampore published it. Now those days are gone by. Man has invented printing machine. Thousands of newspapers are being printed daily all over the world.
There are many kinds of newspapers. They are dailies, biweeklies, weeklies, monthlies and even quarterlies. The dailies contain news and views about the daily affairs of the whole world. There are some other papers which are known as periodicals and magazines. They contain literary articles. There are many English and Bengali dailies in our country. They are The Daily Star, The Bangladesh Observer, The Daily Independent, The New Age, The Financial Express, The Daily Prothom Alo, The Daily Somokal, The daily Janakantha, The Daily Jugantor, The Ittefaq, The Daily Destiny, The Jai Jai Din, The weekly Evidence, and so on.
Global distance has been removed. The world has become smaller. One part of the world has been linked up with another through newspaper. Newspaper if of great use to us. It serves the purpose of people of different sections. We get all sorts of information in the newspapers. We know through them what is going on the world around us. They give us news about politics, economies, culture, literature, games and sports of the whole world.

Newspaper is very useful to us. It has removed global distance. The world has become smaller. One part of the world has been linked up with another through newspaper. It gives us news of our own country and other countries. We get all sorts of information in the newspaper. We can learn about the progress of science, literature and arts. We can learn of what our rights and duties are. Newspapers help us to spread learning among the common people. Merchants can advertise their goods in newspapers and increase their sale. They can also learn the condition of trade in different places by reading newspapers.
Every thing in the world influences both good and dark sides on human life. Newspapers have some dark sides. Sometimes false and sensational news are published in the newspapers. These kinds of news create problems and disturb the peace of society.

In spite of having some demerits newspapers are very useful to us. Everyone should read newspapers every day. A newspaper is a great source of information and knowledge. Without a newspaper we cannot even think of our own life.

My dear friend Sharin,

I can guess that you are also busy with your studies. I am sorry to tell you that I am at present badly in need of the book, which you borrowed from me last month. So, I shall be highly thankful if you please return it as early as possible. If you need it again, I will give it to you after examination. I hope you will not misunderstand me for this.
No more today.
Your ever,
