Dear Jamal,
I am really surprised at the news of your failure in the half-yearly examination in this year. I wonder how it came about. You had never failed before in any examination. However, past is past. Now, be up, my friend. You need not think over it. An examination is a game of chance. Often good boys fail badly in it. I hear you have failed in Maths and there is scarcely any more treacherous subject than that, I believe if you had good health before the examination you could do well. Don’t lose heart, you will surely come out successful next time.
